Well....Neil has agreed to participate in the event. He'll run as many laps as he can in 45 minutes. The track is 1/8 mile. Jawbone listeners have an opportunity to pledge per lap. As an added bonus listeners can take a guess at how many total laps he will run. If your guess is correct you win a piece of art designed by either Lenny, me or Neil--your choice. Also, Neil agreed to host an episode of Jawbone on camera if he collects more than $142. Pledges can be as large or small as desired. Money all goes to the local elementary school. Pledges due May 29th. Len is also planning to film the event, which will be held on the 20th. Pledge via this forum, the voicemail or via the jawbone page.....
it is sort of surreal. i rather expect to get the 'oops, this bill was forgotten in the mix, but can you please pay it' bill for like 5K....sigh. perhaps i should just change my name and start all over again.
